[Introduction] Hi

Hello, Whatever! (I know. Bad joke.)

The thing about most GWA and PTA audios is to make the listeners feel that the VA is talking directly to them. After all, the listeners often use these audios for masturbation. Those are the overwhelming majority of audios in this audio space. There are definitely narratives here, but those are not frequent, and r/gwnarrative is also a good place for that. We also have the occasional non-interactive drama here with muktiple VAs. But thise are somewhat rare.

The reason that non-interactive audios are not typical is that most VAs work alone, and so the interactive style works best. The VA speaks as if the listener is a part of the scene, and they don't need to know anyone else in the community to get listeners and followers.

I have a different take with this audio space. If I wanted to hear a radio stage play, I would go to a sub that specializes in creating multi-actor dramas like the old-time radio shows of the past. Here, I want the interactivity. I want to feel like I am inside the story. A passive participant, if you will, as if the VA was talking to me and me alone.

It’s to put the reader/VA into the scene.

If it becomes too confusing for reader's I'll drop it.

You use the word "reader" a few times here. This is fine if you are writing scripts to be read. I have a slightly different take on this. My end goal is not to write scripts to be read. I write scripts to be performed. Everything I do in a script is intended for the VA. Yes, the VA must read the script, but my intent is to have it recorded and posted. I do not write my scripts to be read like it was posted on an erotic story site. If I did, I would write in a completely different style, and in a format closer to that of a novel.

So, I write to have my work performed. It's the difference between a film's spec script given to actors, agents, and producers, and what's called a "shooting script," which is meant for the production crew. A VA is an actor, a sound effects artist, and at times an editor. So, my scripts are a "recording script" for the VA to create the audio. If someone reads my script with no intention to perform it, and gets a certain gratification out of it, I call that a bonus, and I appreciate any feedback that reader offers. But I spend every ounce writing to make the VA's job easier and more fun. FWIW.

None of this means your desired path isn't a valid as mine. I know there are people who want less interactive audios here. And I know there are people who read scripts who have no intention of recording them. I suppose my point here is that I have found my niche, and you will too.

Welcome to our little community. I hope you enjoy creating here. :)
