Thank you I feel like I'm losing my mind here. Like holy fuck every single thing that piece of human (maybe?) shit says makes me want to puke but...

The way I was raised, you don't silence offensive opinions. You crush them through as logical as possible arguments and counter protests/literature. You fight them on their level. If you don't, and go the "silence enmasse" route instead and they somehow win? You best be damn sure the tables will turn and it will be hell on Earth for anyone they don't agree with.

It's a dangerous precident that at times I'm very close to ignoring, because this shit has to stop, but man we can't just silence opposition. Even if everyone knows this shit is abhorrent disgusting awful behavior, words are words and man I pray to whatever deity I believe in this week that no one ever deems my words offensive enough to silence me. I'm not a biggot, or a sexist, or a man with much hate in my heart at all anymore, but I fear every day that I'll say the wrong thing at the wrong time and it will hurt someone and then I'll be silenced. It's selfish as fuck, but I can't shake it.
