I was invisible this morning

In a world where headlights in the opposite lane literally shine directly into your eyes...

This is a silly comment. I'm not gonna say whether or not I think the other driver should have been able to see OP because I honestly don't know how bright the headlights would have appeared to be to an oncoming driver (could have hella clouded assemblies among other thing that make the headlights appear about as noticeable as DRLs do, which is to say not very). But it's crazy that it's this hard for people to comprehend that lights shining directly in your eyes are far easier to see than lights that aren't even shining in your direction. But bouncing light off the shit that's in front of you and reflecting a small portion of that light back into your retina (especially if everything in front of you isn't a neon bright color that doesn't absorb light to the same degree that most people's darker colored clothes/cars and the roads do).

Based on the video (and considering that dashcams typically make things look more bright, not less bright) I'm guessing that his headlights are quite difficult to see even when you're on the receiving end. But I honestly can't say 100% so I'm not gonna dog on him, I just think it's likely that you guys are right that OP has irresponsibly and negligently maintained his car...
