iOS and Samsung market share now tied in the US

iPhone:

All settings are in one place. You only need one account. To optimize the phone, you just need to adjust notifications, locations, and background refresh. They are all toggle keys. The rest, buy it on the app store with your one account. To use Apple pay? Ah ok that's cool, the phone tells me when it went through along with a check mark.

Android:

Settings are all over the place with submenus, by submenus I mean the three dots with in each settings. Sometimes you can even tap the name or you can tap the toggle, it does different things.

You need multiple accounts such as Google and Samsung. There are three different location settings. To optimize the phone, you need to adjust notifications (but not under notifications, it's under apps.)

Wait there is more, even if you blocked it under apps, you still need to go into each actual apps, tap settings and find more settings there. Android has more permission settings. And they are also all over the place again.

To disable background data, again you have to do it multiple times tapping each app. Wait... But background data is not background refresh. To do background refresh. It's actually called always sleeping apps... Hey there is also this thing called Doze. You better learn about that also or you might not get notifications even though you turned it on.

So... I also need to learn about Knox to block ads and trackers? Ah ok. Got it. Do I use Samsung pay or Android pay or both? Hey look. I'm using Samsung pay... But it doesn't tell me the transaction went though it is still counting down. The good old terminal machine told me it went through. Sometimes... The cashier told me it went through while I am still holding the phone with a confused face.

Ah... Wait, I need to clear cache? Is that why this app is acting up? Let me ask people on the internet. People will help me there. What!? I need to use a launcher? Ok... Let me learn about this mysteriously useful thing.

Seriously, without days of research. Those that just want their phones to work out of the box. Will have a subpar experience with Androids. Apple is so streamed lined, it's idiot proof.
