Reading some comments on this post, people have to understand that justice is not vengeance. A citizen who have been victim of an horrible act can't defend himself/herself during the act. But this is not the case here, she could have left and gone to the police so that he be charged and go to jail. Instead she decided to be the judge, jury and executioner all in one and killed him in cold blood while he was asleep.

This is not defense but vengeance, and justice doesn't and shouldn't allow that to happen without consequences.

I hate rapists as much as everyone, but we are a civilized society, we let justice decide what to do with theses persons, we don't get to do it ourselves. If justice let him go free (because he is rich or connected or something) then it's different of course.
