Do Irish people view Irish-Americans as your brothers and sisters?

I would consider a child born and raised in Ireland regardless of ethic background to be Irish. I’m not attacking you when I say this because I quite like Americans I meet on the whole, but your way of viewing your own identity it so odd to me.I would consider you both Americans with ancestry from foreign countries, very welcome to come here and live here If you can and if you have a child born and raised here that child will be Irish.

I would say we as a nation and most of the world have zero interest in dividing our identity into percentages because that’s not really that important in the grand scheme. For example, I did a 23 and me and it said I’m 76 percent Irish, Scottish,English and 24 percent Scandinavian DNA.I thought to myself them Viking lads really did a number on Ireland and went about my day not really ever thinking about it until I see posts like this. Im just Irish not a Swedish/Norwegian /danish Irish, I think you should be while proud of your ancestry just be proud to be American and build unity around being American with other Americans instead of dividing people into African/Irish/ Italian/German American or whatever cause that just actually hampers the creation of a really good culture and inclusion in my view.
