Everyone is making a huge deal of this play saying it’s a 4 point swing but it’s anything but that. If michigan gets the td, MSU has two minutes to drive the ball potentially making it either a 4 point swing michigan’s way or a 3 point swing MSU’s way if they get a touchdown themselves before the half or a a 1 point swing if MSU gets a field goal on the last drive of the half. Not to mention the game would have played out completely differently MSU might not have done or needed to do the 2 point conversions. Michigan still had plenty of momentum going into the half, potentially moreso than they would’ve with the strip sack if some of the scenarios happened above (I was actually bummed in real time it got overturned because it didn’t give us a chance to gain ground before the half)
