There is the possibility that if we sequester them and allow them to run through this without us (North America), they will get over it and learn the damage caused by this kind of thinking. - they will create labor camps at some point once they have secured land, the cruelty of which will be unlike anything we have ever seen. - there is a good chance they will perform beheadings in increasingly frequency, killing people for absurd reasons. They will eventually exhaust their stock of labor and look to conquer outside. - they will resort to cannibalism after they run out of things to eat and places to pillage. - we photograph this process from space and learn from it - we develop alternative fuel sources and eliminate our dependence on middle eastern oil. - we have drones, nukes and all kinds of equipment we can automate to perform tasks to protect our land. We focus on educating ourselves and understanding the universe around us. Hear my words, we will become gods and this threat will be nothing. - eventually they will attempt to steal technology from us, as they see our great abundance and attribute it to our technology and not the peace which sheltered its creation. Because they will live in the Middle Ages in hell, in a place where even a minor scratch can be deadly. They will even blame our abundance and create a false dichotomy that because we have peace, it is the cause of their suffering... - this thief will be raised among us, obsessed with observing them. He will even be descended from their middle eastern line. So he will see himself as an outsider, eventually growing to identify with the suffering he observes in them and seeing himself as a saviour for them. He will have more than a basic a understand of our technology, be egomaniacal and keep friends which are technology makers.
In his great vision of himself as the rightful ruler and saviour of these people he will manipulate people around him to see the good that he will do. He will steal a healing technology first, as it would be the smallest thing he could bring. He would sneak out and go to the country where he would wear a (terrible) disguise and heal the sick. They will view him as a messiah. He will do many trips with various pieces of technology before "leaving for good".
He will be a great leader and usher in an era of peace there. The old leaders seeing the changes that he brings will fear him, they will see him as an outsider and eventually overthrow him and pervert the technology and attempt to invade our land. By this point we will have achieved cellular immortality. And we would punish the thief in a way to forever dissuade going against the methods which bring peace and justice to all. Think dying and being brought back to life, over and over again. At first the cycle would be everyday and we would gradually decrease its frequency as time progressed, because we aren't barbarians. The suffering caused would be immense and so this "new king" would be punished harshly because he fled the land which brought peace and started a war which almost destroyed it. The peace that everyone could of had, had he had the patience to wait. Or maybe... Maybe this guy won't steal the tech and he can wait out the craziness so that they learn that only in peace can justice truly be had for all. And you know, happiness and all that good shit. That's my long term prediction.
