Isis ‘tentacles’ spreading in Muslim community, warns Rochdale imam

'well the Quran itself promotes violence'.

Who Needs to Quaran when you have pretty much hundreds of Hadith that could justify it as well.

it seems that even genuinely positive topics of Islam bring out all the haters and bigots, who are falling over themselves to throw bile.

I'd like you to point out a single topic that was anti Islamic that came even close to 1000+ upvotes. I can't find one. Anti-Islamic posts on here barley break the 100+ mark because people take no interest in them. There arte people who pretty critical of islam, can you blame them?

There was a time when I genuinely wanted to go fight with the Kurds myself. I still do. I've always been vocal in my opposition to radicalism, to hate preachers, to oppression, to divisions, to all of those things that the likes of IS represent.

Are we supposed to be impressed that you don't want you don't want to go out and kill people? Is anyone supposed to be impressed that other Human beings don't want to leave and kill others. that's not impressive, it's called being a civilized person, also who said anything about attacking Kurds? Serious question, what have kurds done that have angered you?

But what the hell is the point when the odds are so loaded agai at me and people are so fuelled by bile, they seek to drag even my most positive actions through the mud?

I used to actually defend the Muslims communities myself too, I used to go on about how ISIS "aren't Muslims" and that it's just isolated incidents., But when this crap gets pushed into your face 24/7 you lose hope pretty quickly, I feel I managed to to hold together quite well considering I frequently go on the Syrian Civil war sub and just look at all the horrible news that passes by about Muslims killing each other, the literal hundreds of Jihadi groups attacking minorities in the Middle East, pretty disheartening.

If you think Muslims are treated like crap now imagine how it was during the early 2000's, god forbid being black in America during the 50's. Yet, there are 7 Muslims countries were I would be killed just for my beliefs. So, understand my skepticism towards a belief that seems to want to kill me in it's majority believer countries.
