The Islamic Studies Professor accused of sexual misconduct requested to have his name removed from Reddit under threat of a lawsuit

I think this will fall on deaf ears, and is what I warned him/her about after their first comment. It's mind-boggling isn't it? We come from that reality and have lived in it all our lives, and some sjw-type has the gall to tell us that, no, we're wrong, bigoted, racist, islamophobic towards our own religion (wait, what?) and essentially reduces our lived experiences to non-issues in order to support their preconceived narrative. Well, sorry it doesn't fit the mold, but that should be on them, and certainly be taken as an opportunity to at least consider that they might be wrong. Which, of course, they cannot - demanding that others aknowledge their shortcomings is one thing, but introspection is a whole lot harder.
