Why isn’t it taken as seriously/thought to be as harmful to the child when a female teacher molests her male student as when a male teacher molests a girl?

To put it bluntly, sexism.
It’s far from only women who are the victim of sexism (and rape); actually, over the last several years, men have begun to suffer an extreme amount of prejudice, particularly from feminists.
There’s this insane idea they’ve pushed on society that men are “impossible to rape” because we, according to them, have the “position of power” in society. Also that men are all misogynistic pigs who constantly think about sex and nothing else.
They believe that men possess some kind of intrinsic advantage in society, and that women are weaker as a result, and need special treatment to compensate.
In a spectacular irony, this is not only extremely and blatantly sexist, but actually degrades and marginalizes women, the gender they’re supposedly fighting for.
