If you didn’t learn from this thread, Swedes are very arrogant and rude. I have wondered this same thing as an American living in Sweden. I knew of just a few Swedish artists before I moved here. I hear what’s on their radio and Spotify and it’s awful actually. Then they don’t care about 2 good artists like mike snow and tove lo. Do not let them fool you, the music scene sucks big time in Sweden. Big names barely come here. Everyone goes to Germany. Your question was completely legitimate. I have asked my family in law the same question. They had never heard of tove lo or mike snow… then they proceed to listen to the corniest music ever.
