Israelis are ‘Like a Rash,’ Says Irish Member of European Parliament

Ah, at least honesty. You don't even believe Israel should exist. Heck with thousands of years of history in the area, those folks have no rights.

The same can be said about the Palestinians who has inhabitated the area for centuries. I do not believe in the claim that a two thousand year long diaspora is enough to undo the rights of those who lived there prior to the modern Israeli state. Use your imagination; imagine living in your region, and then a people arrives, who themselves never before lived nor touched the ground there, but claims ownership because their long-distant ancestors had a kingdom.

Do you not see how ridiculous this is?

Reasonable demands? You can't negotiate with one side that views every compromise as simply one more step to wipe you out.

There are different views even among Palestinians what the solution should be. The official stance is a two state solution. Attacks that Besides, wiping out Israel does not necessarily mean wiping out the Israeli people, but only the State of Israel, and creating something new and better.

No, Palestinians need to accept reality. Only one nation can give them a state and that's Israel. Either they make peace or they have no viable nation. Hell, even Egypt won't deal with Gaza now.

The problem is that every time Israel has tried to negotiate a two-state solution, the proposals have been outrageously bad and at the expense of the Palestinian people. It is a sheer misusage of their power. You can claim it is better than nothing, but the social and economic cost would be enormous, not to mention that once the new borders and conditions are set, there is no more demanding a more just solution.
