Why would I purchase the Lazer when I can steal one for free at any time?

Because it's a plane, you'd probably still have to drive a distance to pick up a Pegasus-delivered Lazer anyway, so why not just drive to the base and jack one?

You can ramp into the base with ease in most average-to-good cars, or parachute in with any aircraft, and from there you drive/glide down between the runway and jack the Lazer in the grassy area. There's almost always either no guy or one guy there, if he's there you pop him and get in the jet.

Trying to get the ones under the awnings or in the hangar is almost always suicide, because there'll be more guys there at any given time. The tanks also patrol more towards the northern side of the base, and will take a few moments to reach you when you're in the far Lazer out by the runways.

Once you're in the air, all you have to do is hug the ground, bear south, stay just above the fence, and the SAM sites won't be able to see you. When you're out of the base, you should be over the sea, highway or marsh and still staying low. If a jet comes after you, fly high and dodge. If you get far enough away, it'll probably leave you alone, and even if it gets a lock, you should be able to shake it easily. Just bank/loop hard at full speed.

It's so easy to steal a Lazer that I would never ever pay $5mil for it. $3mil for the Hydra is already kind of questionable because the hover mode just isn't that useful for attacking ground targets and it makes you a sitting duck against aircraft because you're way less maneuverable than any of the attack helicopters. I just want the Hydra for the GTASA novelty and the amount of damage it can take.
