ITT why we won't have another covid related shutdown in the US

Which is why I want a two week real lockdown. Send another $1200. Two weeks is nothing. And it could save an insane amount of lives. And after that. We are fine. It’s gone. No more coronavirus. That’s it. And if it were to pop up. You isolate case by case.

It hit nyc so hard because of the city layout. Florida. Texas and others are seeing increases because they aren’t built the same. in two weeks from now, I fear your deaths will start to spike hardcore. It will take people losing those they know and love to take it seriously.

I’m not political. I have been quarantine for almost three months. I’m ready to get back to normal. Im going crazy to go out to a bar. Hit on women. Eat bad food with my unwashed hands drunk as fuck on the street with new people I just met. I’m not a doomsday crazy person. Just a normal dude who has first handed seen a lot of death from this.

So I can’t emphasize this enough. Covid is not the flu. And I will happily stay another two weeks indoors if it means we can kick this things ass and save people.
