-Akatsuki
Yes, this song is so ambiguous. It has lots of poetic phrases and is 'one of the most difficult song to interpret for even Japanese people (Suzuka herself mentioning)', in another way from Hedobanger.
I expected my interpretation will differ from yours, but I have been enjoying these discussions about this song :)
Originally, Akatsuki is the pronunciation of "暁 dawn" not 紅月, there is no word pronunced Akatsuk written as 紅月 (I think Du Enki-san has already mentioned it) and also 暁 is the word preferably used by the people who has a sense of mission; "When the day of victory akatsuki (dawns), we will... !" So I suppose most Japanese listeners don't it is a love song. Hoeever, when we just read the lyrics, we would think it might be a love song.
One more thing, you are making subtitles of this song at the live shows, not that you would just tranlate the lyrics. The most people who watch the video with your subtitles will read not only the translation of Akatsuki lyrics but also translation of the kamishibai story before Akatsuki.
I was impressed by you; when you were finding a better phrase for 少しずつなんて無理 in いいね, you told me "Sometimes, I guess, it's better to look at their gestures to find some context". It was most suggestive for me.
So, I would like to propose that it's better to translate passages word for word as possible to make subtitles of Akatsuki particularly in the live video.
For thatreason;
1) 紅く染まれ - changed "dye" to "turn".
Yes, it's the best.
2) 生き続ける愛があるから - Maybe it's not "our" love here?
I suppose "the love" will be enough.
I will translate "愛と共に生き" in the new song Road of Resistance "live by the love".
3) 守りつづけてゆく - I shall protect what I cherish.
I think that is enough.
-もっとちゃんと いつもつかまえていて
"further still, surely keep holding on to me? (as in: never let me leave your 心, so hold on to me securely)"

The narrator always speak in a tone to tell a story; an inimitable style of Japanese wording, present tense is sometimes used to develop a sense of reality and a sense of presence even if it was in the past.
Like this: "Finally, he hit upon a good idea! Soon, he takes notes! Writing down all night long!"
