This will result in a major fall out most likely if you come out of the closet. I am a muslim, just like you, and have an older brother who is just like you. My older brother told the parents everything he did(party, drinking, made another girl pregnant and moved out with her) and got thrown out, and basically no contact for 5 years now? of course I do have contact because I understand him and not really religous myself.

The thing is, what you are doing is against their whole being if you understand what I mean. They are being devout muslims and they learned being serious muslim in their childhood from their parents, grandparents, so they can answer god later on and get ready for their after life. This is their whole being, their soul and what you are doing is basically doing the opposite ?
