So I've been looking at possibly becoming a streamer, but I have some concerns.

I don't have much in the way of hobbies that require me to meet up with friends multiple times per week, most of my hobbies like solving Rubiks cubes or playing guitar are things I can do at my desk or even stream in the IRL section if I wanted to. So yes unless you stream as a full-time job. I have plenty of time to cook, watch Netflix, go for brunch or to the movies every week, and do other stuff off stream.

The good thing is that you set your own limits for how much you want to stream. The more you stream, the more quickly you will theoretically build viewers and be more successful. But I know plenty of streamers with a few hundred viewers who only stream for 2-3 hours a couple of times per week.

If you can incorporate streaming into other hobbies -- like maybe playing an online version of a card game you enjoy, or if your friends are cool letting you IRL stream while you play Cards Against Humanity you can accomplish both things at once.
