i was trying to use lightworks, and trying to use the free version because i wan't ready to 'jump in with both feet'. but i found the workflow really confusing, it was taking forever to get anything done, and in the end i couldn't figure out how to output a nice format to upload to youtube. i'm pretty sure all this says more about my lack of patience and intelligence than it does about the software, though :) but after reading your post i thought 'fuck it', stuck the video into microsoft movie maker, put the audio over the top and uploaded it. that's more at my skill level! originally i wanted to do edits and stuff, but i guess that will have to wait for the day when i have a lot of time to learn new software properly. for now, i need to accept my noob-ness and just use simple video software. it's still better than not doing video content...
hang on I'm like oh I don't know.. 6 beers in here. Just noticed a "click" at the cutoff end of that vid I did earlier. I was like, hang on I did a fade at the end of that audio when I declipped it. Where's that fuckin click come from haha. I'll just let it go.
So reading your stuff here. lol. I'm not familiar with light room. I watched a doc about those adobe founders. Isn't that a still image program to deal with still images. Oh wait, I just looked up, noticed, lightworks. lol. hang on, I had selected that before and opened up a new window about it. I don't really keep up to date with all the new programs. I figure out some kind of method to at least get something going and good enough. Don't have time to keep up with all the new things. It'd be like watching all the new movies that keep coming out.

Fuck did I ever initially run tests. Any new program, you go fuck you and I'm exporting every possible combination of output setting. Then check them and go, ok this one sucks. haha. What do I do now.. it's 100 qual mov H264. Yeah.. the other month, that full album of 12 vids in a row in 1 vid I uploaded was 50GB but fuck you.. I'll leave youtube compress shit. lol

ok so that was the blsckbsy kid. What's this blsckbsy mean anyways. But yeah.. the kid sounded like he's just getting started in this. He posted in WATMM like, need help with this audio stuff. ok think of that kid last night.. who couldn't even get 'er goin to being at a completed audio stage. Video is a bit much for that. But similar type discipline to where you have to focus on that and shut off the other stuff.

Naw.. you don't even need to. Everybody's too lazy to even bother testing out anything with video. You could literally take ANYTHING and edit it together, as long as nothing lasts more than a few seconds, they'd think, oh yeah that's a music video. As long as you don't go too much over the top with copywritten stuff with recognizable logos and straight up ripping things off. At least try to go obscure or mask and layer and mix things. At least try, is all I've got to say about that whole video editing music video realm.

I never learnt fuck all or went through no help guide. To this day I don't know how to use photoshop. But what I did know, I can play around with things. hahah. The other month I was watching this documentary about the history of photoshop. Those guys. They'd talk to some people who were supposed experts. They'd go, we don't even know what all this stuff does. You figure out your own way and hey, if you can fuckin export a piece of shit.. that's better than those guys who put out audio only, isn't it.
