I've finally broken through that wall of not knowing what to do in Warframe and now it seems like the game has opened up so much that I have so many things I want to say about it.

I used to play Warframe when it first came out and got several of my friends to play and who continue to play to this day.

But I remember very clearly when I stopped: when the co-op missions (used to grind for materials) became a race to the end. I used to enjoy exploring the layouts, looting every locker, killing every baddie. But then people started rushing to the end to trigger the escape and get out with just the reward for the mission. They put massive points in dashing and I was left behind. I used to play the frost character who was slower to begin with. They would speed through without killing anyone and the enemies trained behind them until eventually they snapped and ran back - right into me. I remember asking for help to kill them and get to the end and essentially being told “get gud”. So I stopped playing and left them to their speed grinding.

The grind was not kind to me. Better left to people who enjoyed it.
