When you recover someone incapable of standing/walking and their prognosis isn't good.... you pretty much are allowed to say whatever you want. What are they going to say back. Like I said, I'm pretty damn good at my job. I treat my patients with respect and have the most empathy of any therapist in the building. There is a wide consensus at my job (over 200 employees) that I am pretty much the nicest person who will do anything for anyone. People love me at my job, I am pretty much the man, no lies. Again, not to toot my own horn but when your reputation precedes yourself you can pretty much say whatever you want. Besides, me saying that god didn't recover someone isn't mean. You should hear some of the conversations that need to be had with people that don't want to get out of bed becsuse they're giving up. I generally never have to have them because my patients feel like they have a fighting chance when I have them. I, for whatever reason can get anyone to believe in themselves and do whatever I ask of them. My co workers say I'm like a used car salesman, I can get any car off the lot aka get any patient to do whatever is necessary. Families cry all the time and thank me for the job I do, it's really rewarding work. It's truely a passion of mine to do this type of work so if I want to tell someone that thanks god insead of me that it wasn't him but rather me.... why does this make you so mad? You make it seem like I'm some sort of dick. I probably spend 2-3 hours of my own time each week after I clock out with my patients or families when I could be home with my own. I attend funerals all the time for patients that I've had when no therapist at my job does. I go go to the residents homes on my off time to help them with things they are incapable of doing because I don't want them to get hurt. I am not what you think I am so how about we just stop this back and fourth. I've said that statement many times before and will continue to say it when I am not thanked but god is. Sorry you're mad at me, I'm an athiest and don't believe in god and it's offensive to my hard work not to be thanked.
