I've never known anybody in the Dragon Ball community to be toxic until I joined Reddit.

I know and I realized I had been becoming s bit condescending and adding to the problem.

I’ve been trying to be more welcoming, understanding that not everyone is an expert, and that there are some things in Dragon Ball that don’t have a concrete answer.

That being said, there are a few things I take issue with:

People who make no effort. Engage the community. Scroll through the sub. You want to know when there will be an HD version of Broly? Cool but that question has been asked 20 times and this sub is small enough that you can go through a days worth of stuff in a few min. Also by not looking through the community you are missing some quality content.

People who refuse to listen to logic and facts. When we’re in a disagreement and sources are provided, but you still disagree and think you’re right, it’s frustrating. If I’m wrong and you give me a good argument and sources I’ll admit I’m wrong. It’s amazing some people can’t do this.

Finally, sometimes, content is just terrible. This is pretty rare and usually even when you try to give these people constructive criticism or advice they can’t accept it.
