Remember that time Ethan was very obviously jokingly picking on Ian and people didn’t get the joke and decided that Ethan treats his employees like shit and is a horrible boss? Some asshole made a video about it and it got a ton of views and because he took it out of context and people didnt know the context/ don’t watch the show so they don’t know their dynamic started to hate Ethan. Even fans got mad about it. Ethan made the mistake of saying ‘I’m not joking’ even though it was so obvious it was a gag. People went on to say that the fans who think he is joking are basically cult followers because even Ethan said he’s not joking but like no. We just watch the show so we know what their dynamic is like so we know when he’s joking ffs. Like if you don’t understand social cues that’s fine but don’t get angry at other people for it.
