For those who are curious, Le Circle was a foreign policy 'think tank' involved in Operation Gladio during the Cold War.

Le Circle / Le Circle Pinay

Like Bilderberg, it was set up in post WWII Europe. It too was an elite component of Operation Gladio. Some say Le Cercle rose to prominence in the late sixties. However, this appears untrue; Arch Duke Otto Van Habsburg, French Prime Minister Antoine Pinay, and French intelligence agency SCEDE lawyer Jean Violet created the Le Cercle.

Pinay was in power circa 1951-1952. Bilderberg’s formation was a tub-thumping, cathartic mission led by relative no-name Jozef Retinger from Poland.

The Bilderberg group and Le Cercle are advocates of the EU. Similar people also attend the Circle. However, there appears to be more Catholic, Vatican based groups like Opus Dei in attendance than the former. Moreover, they also appear to have more intelligence and military personal being invited to boogey on down. Bilderberg, on the other hand, likes to market itself as a civilian, less secular shindig.

While Bilderberg is politically amorphic. The Circle, according to one attendee British Conservative Party, MP Allan Clark is most to the right of the political equation. Indeed this group supported Franco’s Spain.

Bilderberg likes to hide their origins under a bunch of mystical medieval hogwash that makes conspiracy theorists drool. The Circle is more open to their membership knowing about their funds. None other than those rum lads at the CIA, who also funded the Bilderberg group. Clark wrote…

“An Atlanticist society of right- wing dignitaries” and, later, as “a right-wing think-tank, funded by the CIA, which churns Cold War concepts around”.

There seems to be little or no initiation ceremonies with these blokes. They don’t stand around idols, or have any titles like “Grand Wizard of the Itchy Bum” nor do they have a frat house or an island getaway. These guys are simply business.

The Alpina Lodge of Switzerland is a Grand lodge originally of the Grand Orient de France (which was integral in both the French and American revolution), now of the Grand Orient de Suisse, and a lodge which just so happened to have a hand in the infamous P2 controversy.
