"Top 20 players list" is not "best player out of each of the best teams". Good team =/= good individual players.

If you actually take the time to watch the games, you'll see that individual talent is still, in average, higher in the eastern regions. Even fucking Grabbz said that the execution from the top teams in LCK and LPL was better this split.

China and KR have a very high playerbase, the servers can be pretty interchangeable, and if you watch chinese SoloQ you can see the players are insanely talented individually. Of course execution is going to be better in these leagues in average.

It's honestly downright insulting to EU teams to just assume the list should be brimming with their players because it ignores what EU actually does better than every single other region: meta reads, creativity, adaptability. G2 didn't look scary last year because they had top players in all positions, they looked scary because their mid game looked unstoppable in knockouts every single time besides the finals and they had answers to stuff that other teams didn't have. People should stop fucking acting like every top team should have a quota in top 20 lists because it's not how it fucking works. At this point you should just stick to making team rankings if you don't know how player rankings work.
