Ja Rule And Fyre Festival Slapped With $100 Million Lawsuit For Multiple Counts Of Fraud (Followup)

Lol. This shit isn't going anywhere. The event was canceled before they got there and it targets the wrong people.

And then there's the rich kid deniers. Omg, how do we know people who spent thousands of dollars to go to a private island are rich? I mean it's not like they hired celebrity lawyers or anything.

Fuck them. A quick Google search brings up multiple articles advising people NOT to go to the event almost a year before. There were no pictures of the event in the website, no number to call. The island didn't exist and a quick Google Earth look reveals the image shown is not there. Bands were booked at other locations while being tauted as headlining the event. Literally everything about this event scanned stay away and any normal person would have seen the red flags. Some of the bands weren't even told they were performing there. People who went there after ignoring all the obvious signs did so if their own volition. Ja Rule wasn't even running the festival, he hired a company to do it. Legally Ja won't be held responsible as he did everything required of him.

But sure, let's all pretend to be lawyers and talk about these poor rich kids and their night of mild inconveniences.
