Jackie Aina tweets about diversity in beauty

As a white girl, who's best friend has an ashy dark skin (it's very unique, I wish I could post a picture) I see her struggling a lot with this stuff.

Even tho I try to share a lot of Jackie, nothing seems to happen.

I mean, yeah they have finally made better shade ranges, but it still needs to be improved and we have a soooo much longer way to walk on the blushes, bronzers, lipsticks, eyeshadows, etc.

What does need to happen to INCLUDE everyone? For some reason including men happened super fast, from a brand like ESSENCE! But stuff for POCs? Nope!!! This is just another level of shit and it frustrates me to go shopping make up with my bestie, because she simply can't find anything and if, then the formula is mostly shit.

I feel powerless at times, I don't know how to comfort those struggles, I don't know what to do to make my bestie feel better... I can't do anything mostly.
