There's no evidence of this either and you're now getting deeper into tone argument territory than I thought you would, so clearly I was wrong when I thought you were baiting feminists.

People are angry because sexual abuse and its ramifications affect an extraordinary number of people. People are angry because they aren't all privileged enough to have been unaffected by sexual abuse and rape. People are angry because one interpretation of his argument is that pregnant victims will somehow be culpable in the crime if they don't radically alter their life plans to accommodate the consequences of the violence they endured. People are angry because his voice is not just any old opinion but one that carries more weight than most and influences the law of the land.

Also, most of the responses in this thread aren't vitriol at all. If you're here for discussion try countering them with your own views, and encouraging people to see what you believe is reason.
