Jacob Wohl has never been one for the truth

I'm not overestimating my ability. Most leftists have absolutely no idea why they believe what they believe. They heard some bumper sticker slogan and no one ever challenged them when they repeated it, so they think that makes a coherent worldview. Meanwhile, they couldn't even begin to articulate why conservatives hold the positions we do.

tl;dr: I massively overestimate my own intelligence.

If you're just going to talk about the lowest common denominator of each side, then "most" conservatives have absolutely no idea why they believe what they believe. But Papa Trump said he'd deport all the brown people and so they're on board with the whole platform.

Take a look at how many of the reopen protests were astroturfed into existence just using boilerplate talking points of taking back our freedom and government overreach. It isn't even particularly difficult. You can do this with almost any issue.

I can only speak for myself, but I definitely am able to understand why people with different views believe what they do. In fact, I could probably argue for your positions better than you could

More Dunning-Kruger.

Also, Trump won by 77 Electoral Votes, which is a pretty significant margin. Not overwhelming, but definitely a solid win. Clinton racking up a shit ton of votes in NYC and California shouldn't outweigh the will of the rest of the country. That's why we use the Electoral College and not a popular vote (in b4 dead old white men)

Winning the electoral college while losing the popular vote by three million isn't a "solid win" or a "significant margin" by any stretch of the imagination. He won, sure, not disputing that. But people who pretend it was some substantial victory, or better yet, a "landslide," are completely delusional. He won by a margin of like ~70k votes in three states.

Clinton racking up a shit ton of votes in NYC and California shouldn't outweigh the will of the rest of the country. That's why we use the Electoral College and not a popular vote (in b4 dead old white men)

We still use the electoral college because it's effectively a form of affirmative action for rural states. This isn't some hot take; do the math if you don't believe me. Your vote is worth more in Idaho than it is in California.

I can only speak for myself, but I definitely understand the electoral college better than you do if you're still using the "New York and California shouldn't outweigh the rest of the country!" talking point. Plenty of conservatives live in both of those states who don't have a real voice because of the winner-take-all format of each state in the electoral college, and vice-versa for liberals in red states.
