Jahmyr Gibbs is not Alvin Kamara, or even D'Andre Swift, or Aaron Jones.

One of the other most prevalent comps in this thread is Charles, the dude with the highest YPC of all time, so I guess that's what some people are banking on. I'm not sure I'm going to rest my hat on that kind of efficiency out of what will be at best a backfield split with a bruiser/goal-line back. And if we're going the CMC way, Gibbs carried the ball 383 times for 2,132 yards in his 3 year college career, CMC carried the ball 337 times for 2,019 yards in his sophomore year. I'm finding it hard to buy into these daydream elite comps at the moment. I think Gibbs is going to be great at what he does but I'm not convinced yet, and I'm willing to be, that there aren't blinders on for how little that involves actually carrying the football an amount of times a game - and in the right areas (see: sharing a backfield with a RZ hawk) - that would make him an elite dynasty option. I'm not going to envision him as Kamara, Charles or Kamara yet.
