Jamal Khashoggi fiancee: 'The world still has not done anything' | Hatice Cengiz criticises lack of action and calls for sanctions on Saudi Arabia

Canada has very close to the same amount of oil reserves as Saudi Arabia.

It's more difficult to get to and process, but doable.

In fact, several years ago when world oil prices were climbing, and climbing with no end in site, Canadian and US companies began pooling their technologies and began tapping Canada's oil, along with oil in some parts of the USA like the Dakotas.

And guess what: world oil prices came plunging back down again, and haven't returned to the record rising pace ever since.

All this to say: maybe the USA should buy more oil from Canada instead of Saudi Arabia!

But ultimately... at this point...

Solar power is now well poised and on the threshold of becoming a much more viable option for most of our power needs.

Sure, there will always be a need for oil, such as for the airline industry (for now), and for emergency and military vehicles (you don't want to have to recharge your electric tank in the middle of a battle!).

But most of the world will be moving towards electric, and electric will be powered by solar, given how that giant sustained nuclear fusion explosion ball in the sky, we like to call "the sun" is constantly shining down upon our planet.
