I know a guy who works closely with the Jets. But still take this with a grain of salt.

The last half of the season every star player was told to get Laine going, no matter what. So every pass they were trying to set up Laine. It frustrated everyone including Laine, b/c he never asked for it.

Scheifele is also going through some sort of a legal battle, no idea what the legal battle is... But it's apparently a big one that is taking his mind off the ice.

Maurice has completely lost the room (obviously)

Wheeler, buff, and all the core do not mingle with the bottom lined guys, and it shows.

They all know trouba doesn't want to be there so they kind of ignore him.

The Young guns, and the veteran core have nothing to do with each other.

Also the game where brossoit was suppose to play but he was "injured" and comrie played and got lit up. Well he wasn't injured and he didn't want to lose and have his save percentage go down.
