James Webb spots Milky Way look-alikes in the early universe, two of which date back some 11 billion years.

Well duh its the expansion of the universe. And as I KEEP SAYING its obviously not right, its an ELI5 EXAMPLE of a concept so you can imagine it as someone with no experience in the field.

You just want it to be more difficult to understand for random people.

At NO POINT IN TIME DID I SAY THAT THAT WAS EXPLICITLY HOW IT WORKED. IT WAS. AN. EXAMPLE. TO. AID. IN. VISUALIZATION.

Do you not know what ELI5 is?

I could certainly dive into a whole explanation of universal inflationary theory, but they asked for a simpler explanation. A balloon example was eventually given, which is better than mine as its more accurate, but you have by no means any leg to stand on for harrassing someone attempting to use a very simple visual explanation for a complex topic.
