[Jamie Carragher] Don't blame Arsenal fans for being giddy – this is their best team since Wenger left

What were people expecting? Us to be pessimistic and moaning all the time?

The fans frustration over the years was a little warranted, and was building for some time. We were selling our best players under Wenger for ages...and had a squad full of sub-par players on big wages...the club was kinda where Manchester UTD are now...We also missed out on CL football for years.

Now? Of course we're giddy... We stopped buying bad players, and instead seem to have a good strategy in place. Cleared the rot within the club and replaced(replacing?) dead-wood with good players invested in the project..

3 wins out of 3, top of the league,in great form, players coming back from injury, Saliba chants....great kits...Amazon all or nothing giving us more great memes....all this... with 1 week of the transfer deadline to go?.... Yes. I'm giddy.

COME ON LETS GO!!!!!!! COYG
