Jamie Erdahl of GMFB opinion on the Vikings

Yeah exactly. I've been cheering for this team since I was born, for decades, and I've never seen our fan base as divided in recent years as we have been about Kirk.

I've come to the conclusion that most of the fans who have an opinion on Kirk have basically dug their heels into their opinions, and the only way We are ever going to get rational discussion about him is when he's officially no longer on the team. It's a lose-lose for everyone anytime this topic gets debated. Total gridlock.

Personally, the way I see it, we brought KOC in as head coach for a reason, and of course he's here to coach the team, manage the roster, playbook, etc. BUT... another one of his goals is to find and develop the QB of the future. He played QB in the NFL. He's been coaching for years at a high level. He's developed multiple quarterbacks. I get some people will be sad to see Kirk leave, But there's also a lot of bright future runway ahead of us.
