[Jan. 11 to Jan. 17] Weekly positivity thread—What are some of the good things happening in your life? What helps you feel better?

I've been loving the positivity in this thread but can people please stop sharing straight up conspiracy theories and misinformation in the comments in this sub regarding vaccines? How many ways does it need to be spelled out for people?:

A) this vaccine was NOT "rushed", meaning that corners were not cut and it still passed FDA regulatory requirements. This information is so widely available, jesus.

B) side effects absolutely are mild to non-existent for the vast majority of people who aren't terminally ill or something. Arm pain, slight fever, body aches are minor and last about a day or two for most. Still concerned? Talk to your doctor, don't just go around making statements like that. The flu vaccine can also cause such side effects.

C) nobody should be able to force you to get the vaccine, but you should get it when it's available to you, especially since it's free (in the US at least). Yes, even if you're young and healthy. Yes, even if you've had covid. Despite what fear mongers say on r/coronavirus you will likely have sterilizing immunity.

Seriously, stop being doomers and conspiracy nutjobs around here, there's enough of that shit on facebook.
