Japan urges Europe to have stronger military presence in Asia to counter China

Yeah, you had a literal Trump as President that threw the last bit of trust and goodwill your allies had in you out of the window, by starting a trade war with them.

… lol wat.

You weren’t already in good standing before Trump, but he was truly the finishing blow to whatever reputation the US had left in Europe.

Our reputation doesn’t matter: our military does.

Your congress seems to have a different opinion on that matter. Guess that LPG revenue won’t go to US fields after all.

And that was a very fucked move on Germany’s part, it is representative of that very same perfidy that I mentioned before.

Remember, before the US was suspected of being an unreliable ally, the Europeans were always under that suspicion. Western Europe is a bloated, idealistic and pacifistic fat cat. Except for the UK. That’s why we have a “special relationship” with them.

Maybe you guys needs some hard times to come before you are truly appreciative of the circumstances that led to Europe succeeding in the way it managed to.
