Jason Kenney says Trudeau must take ‘profound sense of alienation’ in Alberta seriously

i will say that even though globally i think it's obvious we need to ween off of fossil fuels as soon as possible, and a lot of people from Alberta seem to be brainwashed into putting economics before its underlying substrate (the planet) or just thinking we have a long time before we actually need to change anything, they definitely have a point that they are currently doing a lot for the Canadian economy with oil and we are all reaping the benefits. in that way they are contributing to the standard of living for all of us so i don't think it's fair to use environmentalist talk to demonize Alberta. it's like blaming the butcher for having blood on his hands and then turning around and buying his meat.
