Jason Schreier on Twitter: "In the last few weeks I've actually talked to two different indie devs whose deals with Epic ensure that no matter how many copies they sell, they'll at least break even--a rare bit of stability in a volatile industry."

what's with the attitude that since developers got a good deal consumers should shut the hell up, swallow the shitty food the Epic is serving up, and buy these games?

Consumers have been bending over and handing over their rights to coporations for 20 years. That's why we have mtx and lootboxes, aka it's also why we lost dedicated servers and level editors to a large extent in AAA and why we got online drm.... gamers have bent over for every bad practice starting with rebadging PC rpg's as mmo's to get you to pay more for the same rpg monthly and withotu ownership.

That proved the average gamer was tech illiterate and stupid and CEO's and devs laughed all the way to the bank.
