Is Javi's whole military thing horseshit?

He's in the Air Force which is known to be the easiest of all branches. From what I remember, he's some sort of mechanic. His location is not as top secret as he makes it out to be on the show. Pictures of where he is is all over snap chat and Instagram. He is in freakin Qatar which any military member can tell you, is a chill ass gig. My own unit deployed there 3 years ago before I transferred to them. Just google the place, it's gorgeous and to military standards not at all a difficult deployment so much as a fun experience. Lots of people do water sports, get in dune buggies and buzz around. I mean, the guy is on deployment and has after work hours. In the army in any other deployments, those hours are spent sleeping, getting ready for watch and your next work day or mission. He's eating fancy steak dinners and can FaceTime his family every day! In other countries, you're lucky if your company has one satellite phone to share to reach home. They're definitely hyping this whole thing up. I believe, however, that they didn't mention on camera where he was going because either A, no one would take it as seriously as the show made it or B, he was instructed not to due to OPSEC (operational security). Then again, if it were OPSEC, he wouldn't be allowed to post pictures of landmarks or anything which he always does. I also believe that Javi enjoys the feeling of valor that he gets from everyone believing he is in danger. I mean, his little smile when he talks about deploying down to Isaac thinking he's in the middle of a desert in danger and starving? Not to mention how smug he is when he says he can't say where he's going. Puhhhhhleeeeez. He's loving the attention and people telling him he's so brave.
