I get what you mean, but honestly, I'd be really surprised if Twitch died out and some other gaming / IRL streaming site surpassed them. Like, Youtube has been king for over a decade now, and no one else has been able to step up to them, even though Youtube is complete shit towards their creators.

Now that Amazon, one of the biggest companies in the world, owns Twitch, I don't see expect another company to actually compete with them in the near future. Gaming is only getting bigger, more and more people are doing it in some way, shape, or form, and streaming is only getting bigger.

Not many companies have the ability, resources, or platform to be the next YouTube or Twitch. Twitch dying out just isn't going to happen anytime soon.
