Jeff Sessions Says It's 'Painful' Hearing Christians Condemn His Family Separation Policy

I got to use that line to a very "christian" former friend who said "if they don't want to have their kids taken away, they shouldn't have come." I asked him how his life would be different if the Egyptians had caged Jesus and jailed Mary and Joseph instead of letting them settle in Egypt until King Herod died. He didn't have a response. I also asked him that if he believes in the Second Coming (he does) why would he want any child treated poorly if they could be the Messiah? After all, Christ was born modestly in a stable, why would he not be reborn modestly, say in a war torn country or a third world nation?

He said the kids were better off in foster care than with their criminal parents. So I stopped associating with him.
