Jeremy Corbyn among 113 MPs demanding ban on protests outside abortion clinics

It's just another example of the rise of political extremism.

Extreme views have become commonplace thanks to social media, the internet and shitty news media, and the ability for anyone to find and bask in an echochamber of confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance on any issue they choose.

It's true for the left and the right so much so that the far left and far right are almost twisting around in a circle to meet each other on some issues (while the middle watches in disgust at them both).

On the right you get a sudden resurgence in religiously influenced issues that frankly most of us thought were settled rightfully and fairly decades ago.
On the left it manifests as things like people who genuinely believe that a man checking out a woman in public constitutes harassment (or if they're truly off the deep end believing things like a drunk couple having sex means the man is raping the woman).

We're heading into a weird science fiction dystopian society where feelings, opinions and person subjectivism matter more than objective reason, but it's technology itself that allows that regression away from Empiricism (not be be confused with objectivism).

Both sides are guilty - though I personally think the left side issues are as stupid, but significantly less harmful than the social regression the far-right is pushing.
