Jeremy Corbyn attacks 'pricing out' of football fans in Premier League

I meant it more in the sense, I don’t like how football can be used to peddle votes.

For many working class people, their club and their support for it is all they really have, their emotional investment within it can’t really be compared to most other things in their lives.

When people are so emotionally dependent on something, and they’re given promises for that very specific thing to be better (not just football but anything) then they are completely blindsided by the policies and stuff that they may not like, just because they do like that one specific thing.

Football is so massive in British culture it’s just far too open for abuse by politicians.
