Jets released Isiah Crowell. Thoughts?

His big play ability is worth investing in by itself. Crowell and Chubb never even played in the same offense. Last year was an anomaly in regards to the Browns' trends. I guarantee Crowell would've done very well in that improved offense, which is what scorned him most. They let him go and then implemented a system that would've been perfect for him.

His time in Cleveland wasn't even as bad as you make it sound though. His best year was nearly identical to the year Chubb just had, and they went 1-15 in contrast to 7-8-1. That's two completely different teams. Crowell strung together 3 solid seasons in one of the worst modern NFL offenses. Chubb has one so far in a newly renovated and beautiful offense. Chubb is their younger Crowell... except Chubb was a 2nd round pick and Crowell was an Undrafted FA. Crowell fought his way into the NFL and stuck it out with the Browns through all of that shit, just to get tossed aside just like all of the GMs and coaches who were in and out during his time there. It's honestly pretty fucked. I don't really know what his time in NY was like but I imagine that sucked pretty bad for a number of reasons.
