I would recommend considering more carefully where your ideas come from and thinking about the implications of your beliefs.
For example, if you dislike government involvement in certain areas: you should think about where you got those ideas from. If a news source or company says that the government should get out of your life, think about why that news source, advertiser, or television personality might want the government to go away, versus why you might want the government to go away. Are they the same reasons? Then think about whether or not you or your friends could afford a television advertisement, or whether or not you could afford to pay a television pundit to speak on your behalf.
A large corporation with advertising dollars might want the government to get less involved in our lives because they want to less oversight into their operations and follow fewer health, safety, labor, and environmental laws. So as an individual, why do you want the government out of your life? Do you want fewer/badly funded roads, schools, libraries? Do lower environmental or safety standards benefit you?
I’m not trying to tell you “be a liberal” - I’m trying to tell you to be careful with your words, and think about where your beliefs come from.
