I’m a practicing audiologist and I’ve been wondering this myself. We were supposed to take a 3rd year for spring quarter/trimester (I still don’t completely understand the local university’s system), starting earlier this month.

One of our audiologists is not working until at least summer, as her kids are out of school. Our other audiologist is only working M/W mornings for urgent hearing aid issues. I’m working sporadic mornings on no real consistent schedule for ENT (sudden hearing losses and post-ops, not much else). Since our hours have been cut, no way we can take a student now, plus the university clinic has been closed even longer and there are no in-person classes.

Have you posted this in the Audiology Happy Hour group? I think you should - and I’d recommend that over Antics & Anecdotes since you’ll get actual audiologists responding.
