I see. Studied in Singapore since primary school as a Johorean who travelled daily so didn't have access to the dependent pass you mentioned and naturally obtained the student pass. If you are looking to continue your studies in Singapore (with the possibility of your dad relocating in the future while you remain there) then it might be worth getting one considering that you can apply for pr after but the pr eligibility only says "student in sg" not "student pass holder" so not sure if a student pass is necessary.

Don't know any dependent pass holders so once again, unsure about your case but if you got anything similar to an ID card issued by the govt then you can try registering with those services that provide labour to banquets which was what I did. Most likely they will accept you. The pay ain't too shabby too when I was last there.
