Joe Rogan Experience #1023 - Christina P

No, i'm totally making an argument which you just dodged completely. Not sure where you're getting this universally open-minded view of Rogan from - he has indiscriminately hated on plenty of things, such as his view of Trump. Is he not being open minded when he ridicules Trump when he has a more left-leaning guest on? And not to try and correct you, but Basketball is about as simple as putting the ball in the hoop. The fact he states that doesn't mean he's saying the fans are dumb, just that basketball is a very uncomplicated sport. I for one am a little surprised he doesn't at least enjoy football a bit, but only surprised.

My point was that Joe is allowed to say whatever he thinks on a subject, although he is usually fairly nuanced about his approach.

Could he have toned it down? Sure, but he didn't. Should we get all bent out of shape at how un-open-minded that is? Absolutely not - that's what petty people, who don't understand comedians, do. If it wasn't a funny joke, he would be in the wrong. Except She, and plenty other who dislike sports, probably got a chuckle. I know I did.

And on that note, I'm just going share this timestamped clip from this show out of context, because it applies here too. Disliking certain sports isn't un-open minded, it's not liking certain sports. For someone who 'hates' basketball you sure seem upset.
