Joe Rogan Experience #1360 - Nikki Glaser

One of the things that rubs me the wrong way about this subreddit is how quickly people are to dismiss perspectives that they don't understand as being weird or different.

I'm a guy and I relate a lot to what Nikki says with her jokes because I have relationship issues and when you have trouble trusting others, sex and emotions become a foreign concept that you're constantly trying to understand even as an adult. I get that her comedy isn't for everyone, but when you grow up with self loathing and crippling insecurity, it's refreshing to hear someone who doesn't look like a goblin telling you that they feel the same way about sex.

Like, I have a body that most guys would kill for, and the reason is because I hate myself and run 40mi a week at an unhealthy pace because I'll never feel comfortable in my own skin and it's become more about habit than it is about having the unrealistic body that others want me to have.
